Terms and Conditions

Introduction
These Terms & Conditions are accepted during sign up. By booking, making payment and storing goods with AVS, you agree to the following.

Key Terms
- Monthly rolling contract until cancelled
- Storage fee: £120 PCM
- Deposit: £100 (covers damage, gate fobs and locks)
- 30 days written notice required to vacate
- Payment due monthly in advance
- No access if account is overdue
- Goods stored entirely at customer’s risk
- Customers must arrange their own insurance
- 24/7 access for authorised users only
- Units must be kept clean, secure and in good condition
- No sub-letting or sharing of units permitted

Storage Agreement
1. AVS provides storage space only and does not take possession or responsibility for stored goods.
2. Customers confirm they own, or have authority to store, all goods placed in the unit.
3. Unit sizes are approximate and may vary slightly.
4. Storage fees must be paid in full and on time.
5. Any unpaid fees, debt recovery costs, damages or cleaning charges remain the customer’s responsibility.

Late Payment & Default
1. If payment is overdue, AVS may deny access, lock or relocate goods, charge recovery costs and
sell or dispose of goods after notice.
2. If goods are abandoned or left after termination, AVS may dispose of them.
3. Any sale proceeds will first cover outstanding fees and costs.

Access & Security
1. Access is available during advertised access hours.
2. Only authorised persons may access the facility.
3. AVS may refuse access where accounts are overdue or where safety/security concerns arise.
4. AVS may enter units in emergencies, for repairs, legal requirements or suspected breaches of
these terms.

Prohibited Items & Use
The following must NOT be stored:
- Flammable or hazardous materials
- Gas bottles, petrol, fuels or chemicals
- Explosives, weapons or ammunition
- Illegal or counterfeit goods
- Perishable goods or live animals
- Toxic, radioactive or environmentally harmful items
- Highly valuable or irreplaceable items
Units may only be used for storage purposes and must not be used as offices, workshops or living accommodation.
Customers must keep units clean and secure, avoid damaging the facility, avoid blocking roadways or entrances and follow all site safety instructions.

Cleaning, damage or obstruction charges may apply, with a minimum charge of £75.

Insurance & Liability
1. Goods are stored entirely at the customer’s own risk.
2. AVS does not insure stored goods.
3. Customers are responsible for arranging suitable insurance cover.
4. AVS is not liable for theft, damage, deterioration of goods, business losses or access disruption outside its control.
5. Customers remain responsible for any damage, loss or legal claims arising from their use of the facility.

Relocation & Termination
1. AVS may relocate customers to another suitable unit if operationally required.
2. Customers must provide 30 days written notice to terminate.
3. Customers must remove all goods and return all locks and gate fobs when vacating.

Data Protection
AVS may store and process customer information for account management, payment processing, security and legal purposes in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Notices
Notices may be sent by email, SMS, post or hand delivery and will be deemed received shortly after sending.

Agreement
By storing goods at Amman Valley Storage, the customer confirms they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
